Medical Disclaimer

The 2D:4D Test (the "Service") is a personality assessment inspired by academic research and is not a medical or psychological service. This page clarifies how to interpret the Service's results and when to seek professional help.

1. Not a Medical Diagnosis or Treatment

The results of this Service are not a medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or any form of medical advice. The operator does not hold credentials in medicine, psychiatry, or clinical psychology. No information provided by this Service can substitute for consultation with a licensed physician, clinical psychologist, or other qualified medical professional.

2. We Do Not Measure Hormone Levels

This Service measures only the ratio of finger lengths (2D:4D). Your current testosterone, estrogen, or any other hormone levels are not measured. The 2D:4D ratio is an indicator with academically reported correlations to prenatal hormone exposure and is independent of adult hormone levels.

3. Limits of the Underlying Research

2D:4D research is an ongoing field, and some claims have failed to replicate in follow-up studies (e.g., Hönekopp & Watson 2010, Voracek 2011). Effect sizes are mostly small to moderate, and individual-level prediction carries substantial uncertainty. Treat the results of this Service as a reference for academic curiosity, not a diagnosis.

4. How to Read Your Result

The Service's output indicates only "which statistical tendency you are closer to." It does not determine your personality, ability, attractiveness, or any aspect of your life. Do not use the result to label yourself or others.

5. If You Have Health Concerns

If you have hormone-related symptoms (infertility, sexual dysfunction, irregular menstruation, depression, etc.) or mental-health concerns, please consult a qualified medical professional. Do not refuse or delay professional diagnosis based on the results of this Service.

6. Limitation of Liability & Contact

You are solely responsible for how you interpret the Service's results and any actions you take based on them. The operator is not liable for medical, psychological, financial, or relational harm arising from the Service's output or any information on this site. If you believe there is a medical or scientific factual error, please contact us by email (flexchool@gmail.com). The operator reviews correction requests submitted with primary academic sources.
